Why Does A Candle Smoke?

During my training i can also remember u told me it was due to inaccurate measurement of materials but was dat d cause and only problem?

    Inaccurate measurement can cause soothing (smoke from your candle)
    but there are also different causes
    * Too much air blowing around your room…like from the fan, window, or door can cause your candle to smoke
    * Long wick too can cause that. before you burn your candle make sure the wick is not so long trim your wick to between 1/8 to 1/4 inch before lighting it
    * Also in colored candles if the color is not properly mixed and it forms a clog in the candle, it can also cause smoking

    so there are so many causes to that problem but basically this are the major causes.
